God and Science: Do You Believe in God?

For every Blog Post to follow, we are taking a more structured route to answer all the questions posed on the Home page of our website. We will use our branding phrase, “God and Science,” for each post because our overall purpose is to blend science with spirituality so as to understand God and what we term, spiritual metaphysics.

“Do you believe in God?” Perhaps this has been the universal question since the beginning of time. You can’t really take the next step unless you do believe. What’s the next step? As King Solomon said in Proverbs 8, speaking on God’s behalf like a prophet, “I love those who love Me and those who search for me shall find Me. For once you find Me, you find life”

What does the phrase, “I love those who love me,” mean because you may have thought that God loves all His children? In my personal opinion, God is good to mostly all His children but His love is reserved for those who love Him and follow in His path. A biblical commentator wrote, “God offers His fragrance to all but His wine is reserved for those who are spiritual and wish to be guided by Him.” The fragrance is God being good to all but the wine is God’s love. God again in my opinion will not be good to those children that sell their souls to the Devil. God does not compromise with evil and once He decides to act, evil will be destroyed all at once in one fell swoop.

What does the latter part of the Proverbs 8 phrase mean, “and those who search for Me shall find Me.” Finding God changed my life completely and it will change the course of your life. God is testing your love for Him so you have to stay the course. Finding God does not cost you a penny. Finding Him means that you have to activate your Divine sparks of spirituality and start your spiritual journey. When you ascend God’s spiritual ladder, there will be a point when you see dramatic changes in your life. For me I reached the point where I am no longer jealous of anybody else’s accomplishments. I had low self esteem and self worth and now both have soared. I no longer feel that I’m a bump on a log. There are other treasures that come with finding God. God finds you and He plays an integral part in your life. You are never alone when you have God and He is there even when you may not think He’s not with you.

What’s your next step if you don’t believe? Well you have Free Will and you can continue not to have faith. You would need to temporarily abandon your logical mind to believe. Once you do this, you immediately pick up your rationality again on the faith side so that your thinking mind stands alongside your soul mind. Great scientists like Albert Einstein and Isaac Newton were believers. As I said at the outset, you can’t take the next step until you do this.
